Meet Dr. Sean Ostro
I believe that any child can enjoy going to the dentist. I understand that many children, and even parents, are nervous about dental visits, and my goal is to put them at ease. I truly love dentistry and enjoy working with children of all ages. I understand that your children are the most important people in your lives and I take the responsibility of being their pediatric dentist seriously.
I graduated from dental school training at the University of Toronto in 2008. I completed by pediatric specialty training at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Strong Memorial Hospital, and the University of Rochester. I have practiced pediatric dentistry in Boston, MA, and in the greater Toronto area. My experience has included providing dental treatment for medically complex and developmentally delayed patients. In Boston, I was a staff dentist at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as a clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Upon moving home, I have been practicing in the Greater Toronto Area for the past six years.
As the principal founder of Vaughan Children’s Dentistry, I have designed aspect of our practice to make it fun and enjoyable for toddlers, children, and teenagers. We are continually upgrading our facility, service, and treatment to meet the needs of our patients.
I grew up in Thornhill, Ontario, and enjoy living in Toronto. When out of the office, I enjoy spending my time with my wife, two daughters, and our puppy, Jeeves. My hobbies include golfing, traveling, playing hockey, and reading a good book.
